Clark Machine fabricated five (5) customer-designed transport ramps, complete with an apron that can be raised and lowered, safety railings, and gates. These ramps each had an overall length of 61‘9“and width of 18‘6“. The ramps are used to make a smooth transition from road surface to the ferry deck.
Clark utilized resources in all service departments to complete the job here on site. Once built and galvanized, these ramps were delivered via Clark Machine’s trucks, in one piece, to a dock where our customer loaded them onto barge transport. They were then shipped to their final destination. Weighing in at approximately 45,000 lbs. each, these ramps required permit load transportation, something Clark Machine has extensive experience with.
